Quick Read: Why You Should Consider Display Advertising
1. Display ads are eye-catching!
Your ads don’t have to just be a static image ad. You can use gifs and videos to catch consumer attention, and you can also make your static ad draw attention with bright colors, big fonts, and beautiful HD photos. Incorporate video into your display ads to significantly boost engagement. Videos can convey complex messages quickly, making them highly effective for capturing audience attention. Consider enhancing your ad strategy with our Commercial Video Production services, designed to create compelling video content that enhances your brand presence.
2. Appear on Trustworthy Sites
Display ads appear on many trustworthy sites that people frequent such as weather.com, espn, CNN, etc. When a consumer checks their fantasy scores or reads their daily news online, your company will be there! It is also important to note that all your consumers will be targeted, so not only will your ads be placed on these popular sites, but the person you are showing your ad to is in market to buy your product. As an extra bonus (and highly recommended), you can also choose to exclude certain sites and/or devices.
3. Programmatic Targeting
As breifly mentioned above, you can target your audience based on their behavior, demographics, interests, income, and many more! While most people would have to research and find each of these targets, we offer programmatic targeting!
There are multiple benefits to using a programmatic advertising platform for all your digital advertising efforts. Programmatic advertising helps buyers and sellers make data-driven decisions and removes the guesswork from the ad buying process.
Programmatic advertising uses real-time data to identify the best online audience(s) for the campaign and buys digital ad inventory through an auction based on everything available across multiple devices, in places the audience cares about.
4. My Personal Favorite (and a hidden tactic) – Retarget your Competition’s Website Users
Use display ads to target customers that have been on your competitor sites. Yes, that’s right – we can target all users that have been on other websites, even if they haven’t been labeled as in market – this is huge. Let’s say you are a dermatology & aesthetic company, and you are running a crazy Botox deal that you know the competitor in your area is not doing. Well, you know that anyone going on their botox landing page (yes you can get this specific) is interested in Botox. So lets say this person only knows about your competitor and not you, so they are only going on their site. Now they want to check the local weather and suddenly they see YOUR ad and you are in their area! Send them to an amazing landing page and now you have a VERY low funnel buyer right there on your site!
5. GeoFence
With display ads, you can also “fence” around an area. You can geofence your competitor, the football stadium, or a specific area where a lot of your consumers are!
One of the best benefits of geofencing and really the primary reason to use it is for branding purposes. This is also a great strategy for B2B businesses.
6. Cost
Most importantly, display ads are very inexpensive. Not only will we see a low CPM (cost per thousand impressions), but the average CPC (cost per click to your site) is .75c – so you are getting a lot of traffic to your website.
For $3,000 you would see about 4,000 people on your site and 1.1 million impressions (as stated before). Extra Bonus, This allows for more people to retarget as well!
